Resources
These are the docs worth bookmarking for the course, plus three tools that make your coding agent a lot more useful.
Docs worth trusting
When you (or your agent) look something up, start here. These are the primary sources: current and correct, unlike a random blog post or a Stack Overflow answer written three framework versions ago.
MDN Web Docs: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and every browser API. Scroll to the bottom of any page for its browser-compatibility table.
Baseline: which web features are safe to use in every major browser. This is why the course sets TypeScript's lib to ES2025: Vite rewrites new syntax for older browsers, but it doesn't add functions a browser is missing.
Can I use: quick browser-support lookups when you just need a yes or no.
Vite: the dev server, builds, and vite.config options.
TypeScript handbook: types from the basics up, and what a compiler error is actually telling you.
React: components, state and hooks, taught by the React team.
Tailwind CSS: every utility class, searchable.
Chrome DevTools: inspecting elements, debugging JavaScript, and reading the network and console panels.
MCP servers for your coding agent
MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers give Claude Code new abilities: reading sources it couldn't otherwise reach, or controlling tools like your browser. We recommend three.
You only set these up once. The claude mcp add commands below use -s user / --scope user so the server works in every repo, not just the folder you happened to be in.
Classmoji MCP
Lets Claude read this course's pages, slides and assignment instructions directly. That way it explains things the way the course teaches them, with the same tools, versions and conventions, instead of whatever it picked up elsewhere.
🚀 Add it:
claude mcp add --transport http -s user classmoji https://mcp.classmoji.io/mcp🚀 Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and sign in with your Classmoji account.
Assignment repos come with an AGENTS.md that tells the agent to use Classmoji to help you understand the material, not to do the homework for you. That's the deal: course content helps the agent teach you. It doesn't turn the assignment page into a to-do list for the agent.
Context7
Fetches current documentation for libraries and frameworks (Vite, React, Tailwind, …) so the agent stops writing code from outdated training data.
Why you want it: the tools in this course move fast. Vite 8, TypeScript 7 and Tailwind v4 all shipped recently, and agents will happily suggest last year's APIs with total confidence.
🚀 Install it as a Claude Code plugin. No API key needed; you sign in through the browser.
claude plugin marketplace add upstash/context7
claude plugin install context7@context7-marketplace🚀 Restart Claude Code. From then on, when you ask about Vite or Tailwind, Claude can look up the current docs instead of guessing. Docs: github.com/upstash/context7
Chrome DevTools MCP
Lets Claude open Chrome, load your page, click around, and read the console and network requests. That means it can actually test what it built instead of just telling you it works.
🚀 Add it:
claude mcp add chrome-devtools --scope user -- npx -y chrome-devtools-mcp@latest🚀 Restart Claude Code, then test it: ask Claude to open a browser and navigate to a site. Docs: github.com/ChromeDevTools/chrome-devtools-mcp

To see which MCP servers Claude Code knows about, run this in your terminal:
claude mcp listOr type /mcp inside Claude Code.
